In a peaceful town of Beroun which is situated near busy Prague the 17 teams enjoyed well-organisated tournament without complications. The unsually very high temperatures were the only problem. „It was extremely hot but we coped with it and nobody complained,“ says the head of the organizing committee Tomas Brezina in the short interview after the tournament.

"We agreed on leting the players to take the cup on private events and show it to public, for the first time in history," says the director of Pro-Hockey company Jan Černý, the main keeper of the trophy.
