We are disappointed by the results, said olympic participant Vanhatalo

In February she played under olympic rings and now she wanted to help her team to produce good results. The Finnish goalie Anna Vanhatalo is one of the biggest star in the whole tournament. „It is always good feeling when I can represent my country. It does not matter if I play at in-line hockey championship or in the Olympics,“ tells 26-year old goalkeeper.

The participation of olympic goalkeeper helps to presentation of Beroun´s tournament. Vanhatalo herself has nice memories on Vancouver. „It was a big experience, I realised my dream. I started to play ice-hockey last year in the autumn, I did other sport before. Than I was nominated to team for Olympics and even so I played as second goalie I enjoyed it,“ said Vanhatalo.

Finnish goalkeeper is satisfied with Beroun´s tournament as well but she regrets smaller interest of audience. „Obviously it is tiny event but it is a pity that here misses the crowd of pepole which would support us. As in Canada where the people love hockey and women´s games attend a lot of fans,“ grieves Vanhalato.

In Vanhalato´s oppinion is this championship well organisated. „I took part in tournament in Bilbao 2007, Düsseldorfu 2008 and Varesa 2009 and this event is the best one. In addition we have a great team host.“

Finnish team this year did not fill its aims and on Tuesday will play only for seventh place against Team China. Vanhatalo as player of hockey superpower cannot be satisfied with that. „Our team is different from the last year. We play mainly ice-hockey and in-line not at all. But in the game against Team France we showed good performance. Now we want to beat Team China and for next year we have to build new team,“ closes nice blonde.
