Andrea Fialova about finals: It is a great success

Czech in-line hockey players proved in home tournament that they are a great team. In semifinals they beat Team USA 6:2 and they will play in finals against Team Canada on Thursday at 7 pm. Both teams have already met, Canadian players celebrated the victory 3:2. "We want to repay them the defeat from the group," says Andrea Fialova before the last game in the tournament.

Czechs bulit the foundation of a successful by the entry into the semifinals match. The score was already opened thanks Polenska in the first minute. "The first goal was very important, always when we could go to the lead we calmed down,“ says Andrea Fialova.

  After the final siren Czech began to celebrate spontaneously, sure medal was an understandable reason. "It´s a really great satisfaction. From the start we wanted tonight to work very hard and we succeeded in it. That we put so many goals, I certainly did not expect, "added Fialova, and she explained the tactical plan, which worked very well.

  When it was 3-0 for Czechs, home team slowed down a little and American girls immediately withdraw the goal difference for only one goal. Fortunately for the Czech players Polenska scored her 3rd goal immediately and she reached first hat-trick in this tournament. She put the participation in the final for home team near. "The task from our coach was clear, we should still play our game, to calm it, as at the beginning. It was an important goal for 4:2," Fialova nods. 

  The game was played at a decent tempo and it was clear that the forces had to decrease very fast. How did twenty-two Andrea see it? "We hadn´t have not so much forces at the end of the game, the coaches reduced it for only two lines, but also because of the euphoria you do not think so." And how does she see the participation in the final compared with her previous career? "It´s a great success, just great," she says with a smile. 

  In the finals on Thursday from 7 pm CET Czech girls will play against Team Canada. "I´ve wanted them to the finals, at least we can repay them the defeat fromthe group," closed Andrea our interview.
