In a peaceful town of Beroun which is situated near busy Prague the 17 teams enjoyed well-organisated tournament without complications. The unsually very high temperatures were the only problem. „It was extremely hot but we coped with it and nobody complained,“ says the head of the organizing committee Tomas Brezina in the short interview after the tournament.

In the final game the favorite took a lead very quickly and unlike the opponent converted its opportunities. Pete Messina became the main star of the game when he scored twice and added two assists.

In in-line hockey dictionary it means win the gold after an amazing game. And the final game really was stunning. But the winner takes it all. Stefano Frigo, Enrico Chelodi and Julian Ramirez scored twice in a game of disappointed quarterfinalists. Italy will meet the winner of Canada vs. Germany clash tomorrow in a battle for 5th position.

Aussies now face an anxious wait for a result of the last Group C game between Mexico and Argentina.

That´s the very brief summary of duel against Team Argentina and Mexico. After the result 6-4 for Mexicans, their players can look for the quarter-finals where they meet with home Czech Team. The hero of this game was Mexican Brian Baxter, who scored 4 goals and he added one precise pass.

The Czech republic together with Canada has welcomed the cup the most times. This year the cup was shown in Beroun as well. "We agreed on leting the players to take the cup on private events and show it to public, for the first time in history," says the director of Pro-Hockey company Jan Černý, the main keeper of the trophy.

Team Canada failed in the tight game against Team Switzerland which with the heroic performance led the game to the overtime. There the Swiss were playing more offensive and brave hockey and deservedly scored the golden goal. The Swiss hero became Tobias Mäusli who shoots after lucky reflection from the board into the open net.
15.7.Czech players continue with their dream way, they beat Team Mexico 13-1CZE - MEX 13:1, 6 round | Lucie MuzikovaWe haven´t seen so many goals in one net in this tournament before. Czech players again proved that they belong to favorites of this cahmpionship rightly. They beat Team Mexico 13-1 and they are looking forward to the semi-final duel with Team United States.
15.7.FRA – GER 4:1: France overcome brave GermanyFRA - GER 4:1, 6 round | Lukas PeroutkaTeam France fulfilled expectations and scored two quick goals to move into the lead early on and hold on to it for a whole game. Germany in its second Wednesday game put up a brave resistance led by a great goalkeeping display of Marcus Felkel, but could not find an equalizer when being 1-2 down and ended up on a losing side.
